Method
- first of all take heavy bottom kadai/pan
- heat- tsp oil
- add 3-4 green chili slits and 8-10 curry leaves , curry leaves gives a very nice flavor to this chivda
- add ½ cup peanuts and sauté it on slow flame for 2minutes
- after that add ½ tsp asafoetida(don’t miss this hing ka tadka) , add / tsp turmeric power
- now on this stage switch off the gas and add tsp red chili power,
- Now add 3 tsp lemon juice , if you have Amchur powder then skip this lemon juice.
- Mix everything
- Then add jowar puffs / jowar dhani 300 gm , also add puffed rice 300 gram
- Mix very well everything and add powder sugar 2 tsp
- Add 1 tsp red chili powder if you required
- Add salt as per your taste
- Now switch on the gas and keep it slow
- Roast chivda on slow flame for 1-2 minutes
- And then switch off the gas let it cool down , and transfer into air tight container and enjoy this crunchy munching.

Notes
you can reduce quantity of puffed rice or absolutely fine if you want to skip adding puffed rice.
make sure your gas is off while adding red chili powder. otherwise your red chili powder will burn and you will get a burned chili flavor and also chili powder becomes black.
you can adjust spices according to your choice and taste
some people adding roasted chana into this chivda but i love this without it so i made this way, its absolutely fine if you want to add roasted chana
also you can add some cashews and almonds with peanuts , adding dry fruits also totally up on your choice , i love this chivda without any dryfruits and extra masala.
